update 6/1

Well it’s been a very busy last few days, catching up on my Etsy orders as well as making things for my oldest daughters 5th birthday party this month. She insisted on an Angry Birds party. So here I am to show you some of the things I’ve made so far for her party.

Image These little bags are perfect for fitting a few pieces of candy or small favor items. The cardstock bases that you see above are attached to the top of a 4×6″ cello bag. I think I’ll make even more of these for her to give out to the kids in her Kinder Kamp program that she starts next week 😦 she’s growing up too fast!

Image I made these large favor bags. I free handed my own templates for these and I think they just came out soo cute.

Image These adorable “Thank You” tags will either go on cookie favors or on cake pops, I’m not entirely sure which direction I want to go in yet…maybe both.

Image These are some adorable cupcake toppers I made for my Etsy shop. I don’t think we are going to do cupcakes for her party, I think I will attempt a topsy turvey cake.

Well thats about all I’ve made so far aside from some bird cut outs that I will be using for the scene setter over the cake table. I’m going to use brown streamers and recreate an Angry Birds level on the wall. I’ll make pom pom balls and attach bird faces to them and hang throughout the house. I still have to make a tissue paper wreath for the door as well as a few more decorations, then my focus will turn to all the food. She made it easy on me this year, she just wants pizza for her party. But I will be making a ton of different dessert items, i.e. cookies, cake, cake pops, rice crispy treats, etc. I’m exhausted just thinking about it lol.

Update 5/25

Sorry everyone, don’t know how much crafting and posting I will get done today. My oldest daughter Lorelae woke up this morning not feeling well at all and got sick so I will be playing the role of Dr.Mommy today. I’ll get back to it as soon as she is feeling better.

So EXCITED!!!!

I just ordered my first set of stamps from My Pink Stamper 😀 I’ve been dying to get my hands on some and I finally just ordered 3 different sets. The first set I ordered is My Pink Stamper Spook-alicious

Aren’t they just amazingly adorable?! I cannot wait to use them to put together adorable cards and treat bags for my girls. The second set I bought is My Pink Stamper Sweet Goodness

With the amount of goodies I give out and treat bags and boxes I put together I just know I will be using these the most. They are just too perfect for words! And the third set of stamps I bought is My Pink Stamper More Punny-licious

Too stinkin’ cute right?! These will pair perfectly with the Cricut Create A Critter cartridge I have that I am all too in love with as well. I cannot wait to get these in the mail, I know I will be watching for the mail man like a stalker. Once I get these I will post some pics of projects of mine that I used these on. Stay tuned for more interested posts to come. It’s going to be a very creative and productive week.

Here is the link to my pink stamper! Check her out she is FAB-U-LOUS!

Introduction of ME!

Hi! My name is Amanda, I’m a stay at home mother to two girls. I decided to start blogging my paper crafting with the world, here to share tips and tricks and tutorials and learn a few new things from others as well. I absolutely love making party supplies, decorations, cards…just about everything I can possibly make myself.  Not only does it save money for a budget savvy mom, but it also adds a uniqueness to everything.

I started out a few years ago making cakes from home for friends and family, I developed a real love for it. While I still love to make cakes, my real passion has to be paper crafting.  I love the endless possibilities that come with making things myself. Especially when it comes to parties because not every theme my girls fall in love with has coordinating party items in stores, so that’s when the real fun begins. The gears in my head start to turn and idea after idea comes spilling out and I just run with it. I have notebook after notebook laying around my house filled with my random little ideas and drawings. My husband laughs when i come home with new notebooks to fill.  There is even a notebook next to my bed so that when I dream of an idea (which I often do) I can write it down before I forget.  So follow along and let the fun begin.
