Fabulous Finds 6/12

Oh man! I haven’t posted in a while, sorry. Things have been crazy busy lately, my daughter started her Kinder Camp and it was my and my husbands 6 year anniversary over the weekend. I just wanted to hop on and show you some great sales and deals going on. I have been fortunate enough to have a new Hobby Lobby open up 15 minutes away so I’ve been spending a LOT of time in there lately 😀

Right now at Joann’s there is a fabulous sale going on with their cricut products. For example…

This Cricut Cake mini is originally $199.99…but this weeks deal you can scoop this little baby up for just $79.98!!! Thats 60% off!

Plus at Joann’s all of their Cricut Cartridges are on sale for just $29.99! Thats fantastic and I will be taking advantage of that sale this week for sure! I just wish I could find the Jolly Holidays cartridge, that’s the next one I want to add to my library!

And don’t forget to head on over to Michaels.com to print out your 50% off any one regular price item…check with your local Joann’s store to see if they also accept competitor coupons, mine does but the one near a friend of mine does not so the policies do vary.

Another great deal I found at Michaels is their open stock paper is now 6 for $1, usually they are 0.59 each! Thats a nice score! Also their Recollections premade cards and envelope packs are on sale for 2 for $5, originally those are $5.99 for one!  And the paper crafting tools are Buy One Get One 50% off.  Ink pads are also 40% off which I am in dire need of some more ink so you know I’ll be clearing that section out lol. And their 12×12 cardstock packs are 50% so if you’re in need of paper this week, Michael’s seems to have the best deal on paper.

Now for Hobby Lobby 🙂 There is currently a sale in the scrapbooking section, 40% off Paper Studio and Stampabilities products which includes paper, stamps, embellishments, totes and organizers, tools and more! You can also print off a coupon for 40% any one regular price item to use in store or online at hobbylobby.com

Ok those are the deals I have stumbled across so far. I’ll be out and about today taking advantage of those deals so if I happen to see any more great deals I will be sure to share that information for you all as well.

update 6/1

Well it’s been a very busy last few days, catching up on my Etsy orders as well as making things for my oldest daughters 5th birthday party this month. She insisted on an Angry Birds party. So here I am to show you some of the things I’ve made so far for her party.

Image These little bags are perfect for fitting a few pieces of candy or small favor items. The cardstock bases that you see above are attached to the top of a 4×6″ cello bag. I think I’ll make even more of these for her to give out to the kids in her Kinder Kamp program that she starts next week 😦 she’s growing up too fast!

Image I made these large favor bags. I free handed my own templates for these and I think they just came out soo cute.

Image These adorable “Thank You” tags will either go on cookie favors or on cake pops, I’m not entirely sure which direction I want to go in yet…maybe both.

Image These are some adorable cupcake toppers I made for my Etsy shop. I don’t think we are going to do cupcakes for her party, I think I will attempt a topsy turvey cake.

Well thats about all I’ve made so far aside from some bird cut outs that I will be using for the scene setter over the cake table. I’m going to use brown streamers and recreate an Angry Birds level on the wall. I’ll make pom pom balls and attach bird faces to them and hang throughout the house. I still have to make a tissue paper wreath for the door as well as a few more decorations, then my focus will turn to all the food. She made it easy on me this year, she just wants pizza for her party. But I will be making a ton of different dessert items, i.e. cookies, cake, cake pops, rice crispy treats, etc. I’m exhausted just thinking about it lol.
